This is what a typical CleanRun job actually looks like: a technician threads a Rotobrush line into a duct run, reads what the camera finds, photographs it, clears it, photographs it again, and hands the customer a documented record before leaving the driveway. That’s not the premium version of the job. That’s every job, the way it’s been done since 2013. If you’re the kind of person who wants the work to mean something when it’s done – and who gets genuinely annoyed when a company cuts corners that customers can’t see – you’ll fit here.
CleanRun Air Duct Cleaning is independently owned and operated under the Haven Standard, with local crews across 34 states and more than 52,000 homes served. The standard doesn’t change by market. The crew you work with is local. The documentation system, the written pricing, the 365-Day Done Right Promise – those travel with every truck.
Who We’re Looking For
- Air Duct Cleaning Technician: Someone who can work a flex-line into a tight plenum, read what the camera shows, and explain it to the homeowner without making it sound like a sales pitch.
- Dryer Vent Cleaning Specialist: Detail-oriented and patient, because a blocked transition hose isn’t always obvious and missing it has real consequences for the family inside.
- HVAC System Cleaning Technician: Mechanically confident around air handlers, coils, and blower assemblies – someone who respects the equipment they’re working near.
- Duct Repair & Sealing Installer: Good with their hands, honest about what they find, and capable of explaining why a disconnected run matters more than the customer may realize.
- Air Quality & Sanitizing Technician: Process-driven and methodical, because applying Abatement Technologies or Guardsman product correctly means following the sequence every single time.
- Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative: Calm under a full schedule, precise with time windows, and the kind of person who understands that a customer calling about their air quality is already a little stressed before they dial.
What We Offer

Real Training and a Clear Path Forward
You don’t start on a job alone. New technicians learn the documentation system, the equipment – Rotobrush, Nikro, Honeywell, Aprilaire and the rest – and the H.A.V.E.N. Standard before they run a job independently. The path from apprentice to lead technician is defined, not implied. We can tell you what it looks like because we’ve watched people walk it since 2013.
Work You Can Actually Stand Behind
Every job CleanRun does ends with a documented photo record inside every duct run – before and after – delivered to the customer as part of the standard package. That means when you leave a driveway, there’s a record of what you found and what you did about it. You’re not just making noise in someone’s basement. That matters, and it’s a different feeling than working somewhere that doesn’t document anything.
A National Standard, a Local Crew
You work with the people in your market – your neighbors, your schedule, your local crew. What the Haven Standard adds is the documentation system that proves the work was done right, the buying power that keeps pricing honest, and a 365-Day Done Right Promise backed in writing on every single job. You’re not on an island, and you’re not a number in a call center either.
Steady, Year-Round Demand
Duct cleaning isn’t seasonal in the way that landscaping or exterior painting is. Indoor air quality is a year-round concern, and CleanRun’s service mix – cleaning, dryer vent work, HVAC cleaning, duct repair, and air quality treatment – keeps the schedule balanced across months. Consistent work means consistent crews, and consistent crews do better work. That’s not a coincidence.
Before
AfterNo Experience? Read This.
If you’ve worked in HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, construction, or any trade that put you inside a house and required you to explain what you found to a homeowner, more transfers than you’d expect. The technical side – equipment operation, debris identification, sealing technique – we teach. What’s harder to teach is the precision, the patience with confined spaces, and the habit of documenting your work instead of just finishing and moving on.
The first months look like this: you shadow a lead technician on live jobs, learn the Rotobrush and Nikro systems hands-on, work through the H.A.V.E.N. documentation protocol until it’s second nature, and start taking on runs with oversight before you’re cleared to lead independently. We don’t put people in front of customers before they’re ready. The standard requires it, and it’s better for everyone when we hold to that.
If you’re a quick study, take the work seriously, and want a trade skill you can build a real career on – call us. We’ll tell you honestly whether the role fits.
